And these are not just words. Original Montgomery company is the first duffle coat manufacturer in the world (founded in 1896) and can legally be proud of its coats. In XIX century English marines evaluated the quality and practicality of the coat. The cut of the coat has almost remained unchanged.

Hand made in England

The fabric for Original Montgomery Classical Duffle Coat Camel is produced traditionally in Tuscany (Italy). Than it is hand made in Great Britain. To leaser of wool of this duffle coat are sewed firmly together that allows it to be used at -15C -18C. Classical double sided fabric: plane outside and tartan inside.

Composition: 70% wool, 15% polyester, 10% polyamide, 5% acrylic. The fabric is extremely soft. The hood doesn’t take up much space when it is folded and it is perfectly adjusted by straps and buttons.

The loops are made of natural leather and the toggles are made from a bull horn. There are two external pockets and one small interior pocket, for example, it can be used for a wallet.

All duffle coats are carefully steamed twice while they are being sewed. During this process a coat gets the shape that keeps its form for years, and the wool also gets water-repellent feature — the coat doesn’t absorb water immediately, for example, when it is raining.
