Original Montgomery: the quality since 1896

The English brand Original Montgomery is the oldest duffle coat company in the world and is legally proud of its products. They’d started to supply English seamen with duffle coats in 1890s. There’s an inscription on the lining next to the company’s logo: "The world's oldest duffel coat company. Made with pride in England". Since then nothing greatly changed in the shape of the coat.

Best fabric, hand made

The fabric for this duffle coat is traditionally made in Tuscany, Italy. Then it is hand made in England. Two layers of wool are firmly sewed together and the coat is adapted to -15C-18C. Classical double sided fabric: plain outside and tartan inside.

Composition: 70% wool, 15% polyester, 10% polyamide, 5% acrylic. The fabric is extremely soft. The hood almost doesn’t take place when folded and it is easily adjusted with straps and buttons.

The loops are made from genuine leather, and the toggles are from real bull horn. Classical men’s duffle coat Original Montgomery Classic Duffle Coat Navy has two external pockets and one small internal pocket for a wallet, for example.

Every duffle coat passes two difficult processes of steaming in the end. Because of this wool gets special features: the shape that was created at the factory is kept for years and the wool almost doesn’t crumple. There’s also an additional feature — the coat doesn’t get wet immediately during the rain.
